Hi, I’m Mandy of Havening KW!
I am a holistic and spiritually integrated counsellor, working with clients wanting to embody their highest self and wanting to live the life of their choosing. I support each client through somatic (body-based), behavioural and emotional healing, dealing with challenging thoughts and belief systems, and deepening personal spiritual integration, finding meaning, direction, and belongingness through life.
I work with individuals who have experienced traumatic symptoms related to CPTSD and Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE), as well as attachment/relationship and sexuality-based wounding, holistically move into post-traumatic growth. My approach is warm, encouraging, and supportive as you explore insights and healing along your journey.
My background includes an undergraduate degree in Sexuality, Marriage, and Family Studies (BA Hons), providing me with a diverse and interdisciplinary understanding of sexuality, gender, and the intricacies of modern and culturally informed relationships. In my practice, I've supported clients navigating challenges in interpersonal relationships, relational trauma, adverse childhood experiences, sexual and gender identity, as well as issues around attachment, family dynamics, and increasing social skills.
Currently completing my graduate studies in Spiritual Care and Psychotherapy (MA cand.), I strongly believe in the holistic nature of healing. I work with spiritually integrated approaches including art therapy, creative bibliotherapy, spiritually integrated bibliotherapy, and more. I recognize that individuals are more than just their minds and bodies. Exploring an individual's connection to their spiritual beliefs and practices is integral to their healing journey. My work involves assisting clients dealing with complex grief, loss of meaning, trauma within their spiritual contexts, and the pursuit of belonging and reconnection to their spiritual beliefs.
I look forward to working with you!
